The best things that have happened to me, have often been with not too much planning and consideration. Loox, it seems, is one of them. In September 2007 I felt quite bad about having to drop the plans with having Konna mated in the winter, and I thought I would look somewhere else for a puppy for myself. I happened to take a look at Jakovall website, and saw that Marie Jordan, a friend from 8 years ago, had a litter at the moment with a pedigree that really was the perfect kind for me. I wrote to Marie, and she told me that if I wanted, I could have the little dark girl. We made some plans for travelling, and I went to pick up puppy Loox on October 6th.
Loox was an extremely outgoing puppy, very brave and self confident. When we were on the plane, she was sleeping flat on her back all through the takeoff and landing, with all the noise around. Arriving to her new home, she acted as if she'd always been there, started playing with her new toys and being very sensible with our other dogs.
Loox is very fast in her moves and her favourite thing to do is run! She loves everybody and is very good in communicating with other dogs. She is a very active girl, but still being able to calm down when required. She also concentrates very well when we do something together, being a very nice girl to work with. She can be a bit of a softie sometimes, but she sure has got her wild side, too. Loox has stolen our hearts, and me & Marko tend to spoil her at times. She's just too cute ;)
Loox and I started competing in agility in February 2009. We competed in six class 1 competitions and moved up to class 2 in just a bit over a week. In class 2 we competed in 5 competitions, and just 5 weeks after we started competing we won a class 3 competition which was the first leg towards the Agility Champion title. She received the Finnish Agility Champion title just a year and a few days from the first win.
Loox is a fast girl, moving smoothly, jumping and turning effortlessly. She is very talented, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. It is such a priviledge and a pleasure to run with her in agility. She is called Miss Looxorious for a reason ;) Thank you Marie for trusting us with this special little girl, she makes me and Marko very very happy every single day!
